Continuing Property Records (CPR) with OPRAD Software

Developed by CPS Inc. with the input of several clients' accounting managers, OPRAD is a Windows 95/NT application offering true database power and requires NO programming to generate a report or change a record. PC-based, OPTAD is a Continuing Property Record Cost Account Package that generates reports for an entire exchange by CSA or an individual unit or plant.

Report parameters are pre-defined by OPRAD so the user can view or print a report by simply selecting a menu item. If changes are made to a cost field in a record, all related fields are automatically recalculated and updated.

database softwareOPRAD special features include:

  • Archive Retirement Records
  • Mark records of future transactions
  • Pick list of Material Units
  • RUS (REA) Unit and Account Number Glossary
  • Query and Report Menu
  • User friendly View / Browse Forms

In addition, this is the only CPR program that we know of that offers a pop-up "Reference Glossary" containing a description of all unit of property designations (both RUS and Bell type). However, this software can be customized to accept any designations more familiar to or preferred by the client.

OPRAD data fields can be populated from virtually any CAD system or existing data file, such as staking sheets, pole and plant record or various database files.
